Zebula Golf Estate & Spa
Golf estates abound in South Africa but none can match Zebula, a stunning and totally unique lifestyle destination a mere 2 hours’ drive north of Johannesburg in the magnificent malaria-free Waterberg region of Limpopo Province. Located on 1600 hectares of pristine bushveld in the shadow of the Waterberg mountains, Zebula commands a most spectacular setting. Undulating, indigenous tree-covered hills and wide-open grasslands are punctuated with frequent dams and waterholes – a diverse landscape that supports a wide variety of game, birds and small wildlife. Upmarket luxury homes are tastefully designed and privately positioned so as not to impose on the surroundings.
Adventures with Elephants
Located on a beautiful wildlife reserve just an hour and a half’s drive from Pretoria and adjacent to the Zebula Golf Estate & Spa, Adventures with Elephants invites you into the elephant’s world for an unrivaled hands-on educational interaction that introduces you to our gentle giants! Learn from the team’s in-depth knowledge and share in their passion for this special herd of elephants. Join us for this unique and extraordinary experience that will leave you humbled and moved. Please contact us for information on our educational interactions, additional activities such as Bathing & Nature walks with elephants, elephant game viewing experience, romance in the bush, photography, filming and other tailor-made experiences.
Marakele National Park
The Marakele National Park in the heart of the Waterberg Mountains, as its Tswana name suggests, has become a ‘place of sanctuary’ for an impressive variety of wildlife due to its location in the transitional zone between the dry western and moister eastern regions of South Africa.
Vaalkopdam Nature Reserve
The Vaalkop Dam is situated 54km north of Brits, near Beestekraal and north-east of Rustenburg, in typical broken bushveld country. It is renowned as both an anglers and birdwatching destination.
